240v Double Swing Gate Opener Kit Installed

This installation we used our double swing gate opener kit powered by conventional 240 volt. Since this was quite an unconventional gate set up, the only way to make it work was a high mounted gate opener installation placed on the outside of the gate and pushing them in. This automatic gate opener features our easy twist to open manual release function allowing easy manual release access should you wish to use this feature. Setting the electric gate opener up as in inward swing but with an outward swing configuration allows for more speed but less strength. This electric gate opener opens the gate at a speed of approx. 10 seconds for fully open. The customer had 240 power nearby so we decided to utilize this due to the trees in the area. The 240v conversion has the same hardware as the solar gate opener but the transformer is in place of the batteries and solar panel. The top hat track across the driveway as shown is a good example of how to place the wires for your automatic electric gate opener across the driveway in place of invasive cutting. The solar gate automation can be completely stand alone requiring no external power to operate.
